Hello my name is Shawn Millett, I am a meticulous and all-inclusive home inspector servicing the Portland Metro Area. I understand that buying a home is a huge investment and can be exciting but cause a lot of anxiety. I like to make the inspection process enjoyable, thorough, and as informative as possible. I want to empower homebuyers with the knowledge they need to make an informed decision.

I started my career as a dealership level automotive technician for 12 years. Customers would bring used vehicles into the shop for a used vehicle inspection, I would inspect the vehicle bumper to bumper and top to bottom, then inform the customer of the state of the vehicle and my findings. Educating customers on their cars and seeing the relief on their faces filled me with happiness, I was able to give them the confidence that they had made a good investment. After leaving the automotive industry I still felt the need to help people in this same way. That is why I started and completed the American Home Inspectors Training (AHIT) program and passed the National Home Inspectors Exam. I am now an active member of the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) and a Certified Professional Inspector through the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors (InterNACHI), these certificates and education make me a knowledgeable inspector.
